3D Benefits of
Low Volume Manufacturing

Cost-Effective

Low volume manufacturing allows for reduced investment in tooling and machinery, making it an affordable option for startups, small businesses, and product development teams. With our advanced technologies and processes, we can create small production runs without the need for expensive upfront investments.

Customisation

At 3D Hub, we pride ourselves on delivering tailored solutions that meet your unique requirements. Our low volume manufacturing services allow us to create highly customized products and components to suit your specific needs.

Fast Turnaround

Our low volume manufacturing services are designed to deliver rapid results. Thanks to our streamlined processes, we can produce your parts quickly and efficiently, ensuring your project stays on schedule.

Reduced Risk

With low volume manufacturing, you can validate your product design, test its performance, and gather user feedback before committing to full-scale production. This reduces the risk of investing in a large-scale production run without knowing if your product will succeed in the market.

Flexibility

Low volume manufacturing provides the flexibility to make design changes or adjustments without incurring significant costs. As a result, you can perfect your product and adapt to evolving market demands without breaking the bank

3D Printing

Our state-of-the-art 3D printing technology enables us to create complex, high-quality parts with a fast turnaround. This makes it ideal for low volume manufacturing, as it eliminates the need for costly tooling and molds.

Injection Molding

For projects that require a higher volume of parts, our low volume injection molding services offer an efficient and cost-effective solution. We use advanced molding techniques to create high-quality components with precision and consistency.

CNC Machining

Our CNC machining capabilities allow us to create parts and components with tight tolerances and complex geometries. This versatile process is suitable for low volume manufacturing and offers a high level of accuracy and repeatability.

Left to right driving vehicle modification

To make American vehicles suitable for the Australian market, they need to be changed from left to right driving vehicles. 3D Hub advised the right materials and most cost effective manufacturing process for the parts required to make this change. Then we manufactured low volumes of interior components for our customer. Managing costs and materials when manufacturing in low volumes is a challenge that 3D Hub has plenty of experience tackling. If you need support with low volume manufacturing, let's chat.

Left to right driving vehicle modification

To convert an American truck from LH to RH, we reverse engineered the glovebox latch and manufactured a limited number. We selected the most appropriate materials and manufacturing process for the quantity and budget, achieving injection moulded quality without the large financial outlay required for a small run.

3D Scanning and Engineering

Far too often products are released on the market with only a prototype being built and tested with limited understanding of the stress profiles and fatigue life implications in a product.
Within any product design project there are risk factors that can cause product failure. It is desirable to mitigate these risk factors before manufacturing begins. Mechanical analysis utilizes powerful computer simulations and design techniques to identify potential risks and verify whether a design will perform all necessary functions. It can also help predict where faults/stress may occur which can then be rectified early in the design phase.
